The Dublin Core Directorate invites self nominations (or nominations of
others) for participation in the Seventh Dublin Core Metadata Workshop
(http://www.ddb.de/partner/dc7conference/index.htm) , co-sponsored by Die
Deutsche Bibliothek and the OCLC Online Computer Library Center, Inc.
--- WHO SHOULD APPLY ---
Self Nominations are encouraged; nominations of others are welcomed as well.
Previous workshops have attracted resource description practitioners from
many sectors and disciplines, including libraries, museums, archives,
commercial search and description services and others. Implementors are
particularly encouraged to participate.
Please note that this workshop is intended to attract those with the
expertise and interest in advancing the state of the art and practice of
resource description for network accessible information. It is not a
tutorial.
The process and facilities require limiting attendance, so in general a
single applicant will be considered from a particular project or
institution.
All announcements concerning the workshop will be made on the DC-General
mailing list ([log in to unmask]). Instructions for joining are
available at the Mailbase website (http://mailbase.ac.uk/lists/dc-general/).
