I was DELIGHTED with all the critical responses received - this is PRECISELY
what we were looking for.
I particularly liked
1. Geoffrey Faux's suggestion to put an "-ing" on everything i.e.
mathematicKING.
2. Peter Gates' product from an Ubi-drink on the way to Jerusalem. Thanks
for the nice things you said about me ("let's not be too hard on John
Bibby's lack of imagination - he might just have something" Wow!) - lots of
good ideas there, Peter.
This brief reply is pending development of a better list. I just wanted to
assure you that the original list was NOT written by me and I am still
looking for ammunition and ideas to make things better.
One more serious point - several people suggested that the themes should be
more "mathematical" e.g. 'Traingles'. I have my doubts about that. Remember
we are going for The Great British Public, not maths specialists. What do
other people think?
JOHN
