Some time ago Matthew asked the mailing list to respond with what people
considered to be essential audits - I never saw anything further - did I miss it
or did nothing come of it? I'd be really interested in knowing the results of
the query.
In these days of Governance it would be really useful if we had
(i) common topics and
(ii) common tools to audit those topics
so that we could truly compare the quality of departments with more than just
MTOS. Henry Guly's recent paper on Cardiac Arrest audit in Resuscitation 40, 97
- 102 (1999) could prove useful in this respect.
What do others on the list think?
