Hi Andrew,
This is a good question. The MA Disability Studies course maintains a good
relationship with Prof. Len Barton and others in department of Education and
we have, over the years, had guest lectures from education on the MA
Disability Studies course in the past. Students in university are
technically able to take modules in other departments. Since Sheffield is
becoming an important centre for Disability Research, with a large number of
scholars in different departments, the modular system enables students keen
to do options in other departments to shop around.
Best wishes
Deborah
