This is remarkable...but not unexpected. The pressure must be getting
to the pro-Singer crowd: they (or he) can't answer the question: "Dr.
Singer, do you advocate aborting babies because they experience
disabling conditions?" or some such, so drag a red herring across the
path. Question Singer? YOU must be the Bad Person.... It's those
nasty Nazis and so on...
Just let Singer's work speak for itself. And it does --- eloquently
and unambiguously. Maybe he didn't "really" mean it; maybe he was just
doing what academics sometimes do, namely, getting all the arguments
out. Still, I don't think his message is missable, except by those who
think there is something wrong with "those people."
