Research Studentships in Social Policy
£6620 p.a. plus tuition fees
Two University funded PhD studentships are available in the Health and
Social Policy Research Centre (HSPRC) for three years from 1 September
1999. Candidates should have a good honours degree in social policy or
a related discipline and will be expected to register for an MPhil/PhD.
A Masters degree or previous research experience would be an advantage.
Studentships will be offered in two of the policy areas on which the
HSPRC focuses. These include:
* health and social care (especially primary care and community
care)
* community regeneration and environmental policy
* community safety and criminal justice
Applications will be particularly welcomed from students interested in
inter-agency working and inter-professional collaboration, and user,
citizen and community empowerment.
