The following article on the management of posterior cruciate injury may be
of interest.
This study proposes that acute, isolated tears of the posterior cruciate
ligament of the knee should be treated nonoperatively, at least until
surgical techniques improve. This recommendation is based on a new study
which reveals that the results of nonoperative treatment appear to be as good
as those from surgical reconstruction.
