As a physiotherapist in temporary retirement as I have just had my second
child, I experienced a lot of sacro-iliac pain during my pregnancy. I found
exercise in water to be of most benefit. I attended a class weekly held by
a physio in a heated pool, consisting of walking, trunk exercises, pelvic
tilting, upper limb exercises, lower limb exercises. I believe the water
temperature can't be too high (not sure what the upper limit is).
On a general note I find this list useful in maintaining some professional
contact while not working.
