As part of its remit, QUALIDATA organises twice-yearly workshop to provide
ESRC
and other social science researchers with a forum for advice and exchange of
experience on issues relating to qualitative research. These workshops are
intended to
address questions associated with preserving qualitative data and facilitate
secondary
analysis of archived material.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday 30 June 1999 at the University of
Edinburgh (venue tba) starting at 10.30 am and finishing around 4.30 p.m.

Places on the course are limited to 30, so you are advised to return your
booking form
early to ensure a place. Priority will be given to researchers working in
Scotland on
research on issues specifically relating to Scotland. The workshop fee to
cover
catering and room hire is 35=00 pounds per head.
