Original papers are invited on all aspects of artificial intelligence
in design. Papers will be rigorously refereed by an international
board of reviewers and accepted papers will be published as a book.
Topics of particular interest include but are not limited to:
case-based reasoning in design
cognitive design models
collaborative design
design process models
distributed design
evolutionary systems in design
integrated design environments
knowledge-based design systems
knowledge representation for design
learning for design
models of creative design
qualitative reasoning in design
representing designs
visual reasoning in design
CALL FOR POSTERS
Posters describing ongoing research are invited. Abstracts outlining
poster material will form the basis of the refereeing of posters. In
addition to the poster display, authors of accepted posters will give
short presentations with time for discussions.
PRIZES
There will be two prizes awarded: one for the best paper and one for
the best presentation as judged by a panel of assessors drawn from the
vice-chairs. The best paper prize will be awarded to the paper which
makes the most significant contribution to the field of artificial
intelligence in design. The best presentation prize will be awarded to
the presentation which delivers to its audience the ideas in the paper
in the most successful and interesting manner.
