Hello,
Sorry I can't address you formally, but I couldn't detect your
name in your recent email to the disability research list.
You rang bells in my head with your message about being left in the
margins by "uneducated people" (who should know better in my opinion).
I would be very grateful to receive any information you might have on the subject
of bringing awareness to the educators who just haven't a clue about disability
or the desire to do anything about that deficit of understanding.
I presently am going through hell with my own university, or to be more specific,
a very prejudical department within the university. There are some people in
positions who may be able to effect change if they are helped with sound and
healthy advice and therefore if you can offer any I would be extremely grateful.
I am registered blind (no center vision) and therefore am limited with accessing
certain formats of information. Eg: the webb is impossible for me to use at present,
and I wonder if you might be able to email me anything directly?
best regards,
thanks in advance
Joseph,
