Hi Peter
We are hosting a web magazine which runs under Microsoft SiteServer.
One of our aims was to gain experience of the use of a shrink-wrapped
Windows NT solution to provide Dublin Core (and other) metadata. Although
SiteServer has a nice search engine and indexing tool it does *not* allow
full stops (periods) to be used in META attributes - so DC_creator is the
best you can do :-(
We have reported this to Microsoft using their online bug reporting
system - but don't know if this has fallen down a black hole. If anyone
has contacts with Microsoft, could you see if you could notify them of this
bug.
An article about the searching capability of SiteServer was published in
a recent issue of our web magazine, Ariadne. See

No experience of Verity I'm afraid.
Brian
