As the only mature (ish) student in my level at Glasgow, I would be
interested to here if a lack of mature students is evident within Geography
departments at other university's. If this is the case what attempts (if any)
are being made to attract us?
I feel we can bring in new and important viewpoints (esp. in Human Geog.) to
both fellow students and lecturers alike. I myself took an Access Course to
get here and Geography wasn't even an option. Most adults still think
Geography is about trees and mountains. How can people contemplating a return
to academia be directed towards the most important subject of them all?
