Dear All,
I'd like to introduce myself as a new member of PILAS:

I completed an BA in Modern Languages in 1995, and have since done an
MPhil in European Literature. I am at present in my first year of PhD, and
am working on the writing of several Latin American women writers. I am
interested in the work of: Albalucia Angel, Silvia Galvis and Laura
Restrepo (Colombia); Griselda Gambaro (Argentina) and Laura Esquivel
(Mexico). I am currently examining question of identity and
intertextuality in these writers. I would be interested to know if anyone
is working on any of these writers (in particular, the Colombian ones on
whom there is relatively little research to date), and in general if
people have ideas/have come across their work or articles on their work.
Thanks,
Claire
