MSc in Manipulative Physiotherapy

This part-time modular MSc in Manipulative Physiotherapy is based on 120
credits at Masters level. The course offers six units, each of which
account for 20 credits.
The provisional dates for the units are as follows
06-15 Oct, 1999 - Research Unit
10-28 Jan, 2000 - Neuromusculoskeletal Related Sciences
02-20 May, 2000 - Peripheral Manipulation
04-22 Sept, 2000 - Spinal Manipulation
09-27 Jan, 2001 - Integrating Concepts of Manipulation
The MSc will be completed with a dissertation
Each of the three manipulation units consists of three weeks full-time
attendance at UEA followed by two days consolidation at the UEA for the
presentation of reasoned case studies.
A four-week clinical secondment will follow the Peripheral and Spinal
units - and a three-week secondment after the Integrating Concepts of
Manipulation unit.
The units, excluding the research dissertation, may also be available to
those students who are registered on the MSc in Health Sciences or as
stand-alone units.
For 1999/2000 the cost is as follows: for UK/EU residents each unit is £446
and £2,675 for the full MSc;
for international students each unit is £1,108 and £6,650 for the full MSc.
The cost does not include clinical secondments or accommodation.
Unit tutors include Jill Gamlin and other MACP lecturers of national and
