Thanks for explaining this to me. A question. In your example:
> <?xml version="1.0"?>
> <rdf:RDF xmlns:rdf="http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#"
> xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.0/"
> xmlns:dcq="http://purl.org/dc/qualifiers/1.0/">
> <rdf:Description about="http://my page/">
> <dc:creator>
> <rdf:Description>
> <rdf:value> 1953-07-13 </rdf:value>
> <dcq:creatorType
> rdf:resource="http://my
> schema/creatortype/PersonalName/DateofBirth#">
> </rdf:Description>
> </dc:creator>
> </rdf:Description>
> </rdf:RDF>
are you saying that it would be not be possible to write the schema that
would make this usable as I would like, or that it would be very
difficult?
Also, could someone change it in something like this:
> <?xml version="1.0"?>
> <rdf:RDF xmlns:rdf="http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#"
> xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.0/"
> xmlns:dcq="http://purl.org/dc/qualifiers/1.0/">
> <rdf:Description about="http://my page/">
> <dc:creator rdf:resource="http://my schema/my own definition of creator">
> <rdf:value>Jim Weinheimer</rdf:value>
> </dc:creator>
> </rdf:Description>
> </rdf:RDF>
In other words, if the situation is bad for dcq, is dc somehow exempt?
