Young Researchers Meeting
Wednesday 9th June 1999 at Manchester University
The Radiochemical Methods Group continues in its aim to encourage young
scientists in the field of radiochemistry, through the informal and
friendly atmosphere of the 'Young Researchers Meeting'. It is designed as
a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences between researchers in
industry, research institutes and university departments. Researchers
under 35 are encouraged to submit papers and posters in any fields
involving the development and application of radiochemistry or
radioanalytical techniques.
A prize will be awarded for the best talk of the day, based on the quality
of the presentation. Speakers are given 15 minutes for their presentation
with 5 minutes for questions. The winner will receive a cheque and the
honour of having her/his name added to those of previous recipients on the
coveted trophy, a bust of Marie Curie, which will remain in her/his
possession until the next meeting.
