Hi, Matt, Chris et al.
reading your last few posts, I can't help wondering if you've recently been
to see The Matrix, or have perhaps been rereading your Plato? Among the
students, anyway, there seems to be a bit of a neo-Neo-"Neo"-Platonist
movement going, in response to a movie which, I am assured, makes
philosophy sexy.
The dearth of thoughtful reviews has surprised me -- perhaps everyone is
waiting for the big Star Wars movie? Has anyone read anything good on the
Matrix, or have thoughts on possible teaching use?
With apologies to those who find pop culture trivial ;^)
