"Italiano scritto e parlato: giornata di studio"
Written and Spoken Italian: a one day workshop
Tuesday, June 15 1999, Edinburgh, Italian Cultural Institute, 82
Nicholson Street.
The workshop, conducted both in English and Italian, aims to bring
together teachers and language experts in order to promote lively and
informal discussion on the state of the Italian language.
The Institute is pleased to welcome for the first time in Edinburgh
Professor Raffaele Simone, leading linguist and distinguished
European scholar who will give a lecture on "The future of the
Italian language."
All teachers will be welcome. There will not be registration fees,
though those interested in attending are kindly requested to let the
organizers know in advance.
