FACULTY GROUP OF MEDICINE & VETERINARY MEDICINE
COURSEWARE DESIGNER(S) - UP TO 3 POSTS
Applications are invited for three Courseware Designers to develop
multimedia learning materials to support medical and veterinary students.
Two of the appointees will be based mainly in the Medical School,
Hugh Robson Link Building, George Square, while a third will work
predominantly for the CLIVE project (http://www.clive.ed.ac.uk/) based
in the Veterinary Faculty at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies,
Summerhall.
We are seeking motivated, creative and enthusiastic individuals with
excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to work as
part of a team or unsupervised. Successful applicants will have a degree
or equivalent in a relevant subject (multimedia design, human-computer
interaction, educational technology). Familiarity with Windows authoring
tools and ability in graphic design are essential. Experience of Authorware
and Web design tools are especially valuable.
Salary range: £15,735 - £17,570 or £18,275 - £23,651 p.a. according to
qualifications and experience. USS Superannuation.
Funding will be available for up to three years in the first instance.
