Dear Jane Condon,
>i am a student at stockport college doing a ba hons in social care. i
>am currently doing an assignment on societies understanding of the
>problems of access to child care facilities to lone mothers entering
>employment;i really need references of different perspectives that
>could be used, please help.
You may want to have a look at these two papers below. They both
deal with the problem of how the 'time poverty' of lone mothers often
denies them the ability to access established childcare. It is acknowledged
that this affects their ability to retain employment and that 'New
Deal' policies that seek the employment of lone parents should
consider this in the policy design.
