The working group GT-10 Multimedia Indexing of the French GDR-PRC ISIS
is organizing a European Workshop on Content-Based Multimedia Indexing
(CBMI'99) which aims at bringing together various communities (audio,
video, image, textual information retrieval) involved in various
aspects of Multimedia Indexing.
The list of intended topics to be covered in the Workshop is (the list
is not limitative):
- Multimedia indexing (image, audio, video, text)
- Multimedia content extraction
- Matching and similarity search
- Construction of high level indices
- Cross-modal indexing
- Models of representation
- Content-based search techniques
- Applications
This workshop will be located in Toulouse, France
(http://www.irit.fr/) on October 25-27, 1999. Submissions will be
based on full size papers (6-8 pages).
