Creating Caring Communities to Serve Mentally Ill Offenders
Conference Rationale
People with mental health problems who also transgress the law present
some of the greatest challenges for professionals and services

the problem, much can be gained from sharing experiences from an
international perspective.
This conference provides an opportunity for individuals from a range of
organisations and agencies to meet together with the aim of:-
· creating an opportunity for practitioners, policy makers, researchers
and advocates from multiple countries to explore potential future
collaboration.
· exchanging information on effective models of care, intervention
strategies, research, training and policy making in different countries.
