Organizations of Students With Disabilities Guidebook: Now Available from
the NEADS Office!
The Association has just released the publication Organizations of Students
With Disabilities Guidebook: Leadership in Our Community. The 60 page text
includes an overview of the history of the disability movement in the United
States and Canada; profiles of selected Canadian student
organizations, including NEADS; and a section which provides practical tips
on leadership and organizing a group on your campus.
The appendix of the guidebook presents
descriptions of university and college organizations and committees of
students with disabilities from all regions of Canada, and will
provide examples of different ways students can organize themselves for
advocacy.
