Dear Rick,
we are using two different approaches to ward orders:
- mainframe terminal emulation and batch transfer to LIS (precedent)
- client-server, real time link to LIS for intensive care unit (very recent)
After one or two months I hope that we will be able to summarize pros and cons.
Do you think that our experience would be of some interest?
Thank you.
Sincerely
Marco Pradella

Oggetto: Speaker needed -
I'm looking for a speaker for the Eurolabautomation Conference to talk
in detail about experience with Ward Order Comms. Does anyone
know of a site which has successfully implemented ward order comms
(or has failed) and which could provide a good speaker on the topic.
It will be a short but pithy slot in a session on lab communications.
Thanks
Rick
