I was surprised to read about this first in the Lancet Vol 353 April 17
;1292. (Tim Coats commentary). Admittedly I was away last week so maybe I
missed the glossy launch ? While I had heard it was coming I did not notice
any great public fanfare. Sponsored by the AA it will now provide the UK
with an aero-nedical system in line with Europe, Australasia and North
America though unlike other countries it will not be staffed by medical
staff. It will be interesting to see how it develops and what happens when
the AA money runs out.
