As someone who has recently done the FRCSEd(A&E), (as well as the
FRCS), I think this is a very tough exam, and broad based, ensuring
you do not ignore learning about half the patients likely to attend
your A&E. We are ,or are training to be, A&E specialists - not
physicians. We need to ensure we are adequately tested in trauma,
surgery, paeds, obs & gynae etc etc. How can our specialty ever gain
the credibility it deserves if our members do not even support our own
fellowship?
