Yes, thanks for the tip. Sony are not being particularly helpful though,
the UK office hasn't even heard of the MZ-B3 (which is the $900
mini-disc model you spoke of) and has no listing for the optional foot
pedal (part number FS-85B3 with start/pause/forw/rev/stop functions: UK
Sony hadn't heard of this either and I had to find the info from a
mini-disc community website). The US customer support are taking a
*long* time to answer emails. From a Japanese electronics site I managed
to find that the foot pedal was being sold for less than $100, but
before ordering I need to find out basic information such as whether it
is compatible with all mini-disc recorders or just the MZ-B3. If others
are interested I will forward any further information I find (if Sony
respond to my communications or decide that trying to give basic info to
help sell their products would be a good business idea).
