A deaf, queer, South Asian man, Gaurav Mathur explores his life and
movement in different minority ëspacesí and their intersections.
Constructing this life-geography, he describes and analyzes how a
minority functions within a minority within yet another in the U.S.
He offers insights into the use of these ideas for better understanding
of various types of minority status issues. This will help better and
practical inter-community dialog.
Gaurav will deliver the lecture in American Sign Language (ASL).
An interpreter will translate it into English.
Q & A will follow the lecture.
