I'm not so sure 'Land and Sea Tales' is that hard to find. I've just
ordered a 1923 edition from Twiggers of Mortlake for UK£12. Mail them at

Incidentally, they also had a 1932 Macmillan 'Limits and Renewals' UK
edition for UK£13.50. I didn't get it because I found one in Notting
Hill for a fiver. Not bad for a first edition! The Macmillan Archives at
the British Library should help Liz Breuilly with research onto
Kipling's publishing history.
