Hello Henry
Yes people can be so shallow and thoughtless.
You are fortunate to have a partner who is there with you and not
going to let others influence or put people down who may be
different.
Unfortunately there is a lot of educating yet to be done.
My own life has changed since acquiring a brain injury. Some years
later I find I am "giving back" to the community through my ongoing
support and advocacy in the community.
We may have had some varying levels of change in our life, but we
have a job to do and that is to continue our combined efforts for
changed attitudes within the whole community!
"Thankyou to all people who are with us on our mission."
Julie.
