Dear Forum,
The editor of Ethics, Place & Environment has accepted an amended version of
the CGF forum on the RGS-Shell-Ogoni debates for publication, which I hope
will provoke further debate and provide a useful resource for teaching.
The editor has suggested that the forum could be strengthened by a further
comment from beyond British Geography. I am happy to approach people on
this, but as the forum comes out of the CGF, I think it's appropriate to
post a more general call. So ... if you are from outside of the British
academic community (and particularly if you are outside of the old IBG, or
new RGS-IBG organisations) and you feel you have a short contribution to
make on the issue please get in touch asap, and certainly no later than
Monday 29th March. Contributions will have to be written rapidly, and
should be no more than 1000 words in length.
