In the March 1999 issue of the AAG Newsletter (p27), Ptolemy, (also of
Geographical Magazine fame) writes his last column. In this last one, he
thanks his supporters and editors, and reveals his identity!
These humorous and informative columns will be missed.
What irks me is not that I had been guessing his/her identity wrong
for the last 15 years, but the implication in this last retrospective
piece, that the AAG editors appear to have fired him.
Can anybody shed any light on this?
