Dear Forum,
Please draw the following announcement (advert?) to the attention of
interested final year undergraduates, and anyone-else you know who might be
interested by the course. To qualify for the studentships it is important
that students contact us as soon as possible, even if they are considering
other options.
Thanks for taking the time to read this
David Gilbert.
Cultural Geography M.A. at Royal Holloway
THREE STUDENTSHIPS NOW AVAILABLE
I write to bring to your attention the Cultural Geography MA programme at
Royal Holloway. There are three studentships attached to this programme: two
fully-funded ESRC quota studentships (UK fees and full maintenance) and at
least one further college scholarship (fees plus a contribution to
maintenance) to students accepted on the course before 1 May 1999. The M.A.
has full 'RT' recognition from ESRC, fulfilling their requirements for
postgraduate research training, and is particularly useful for students who
wish to proceed to PhD research. All the elements of the course are assessed
on the basis of course-work, including a substantial dissertation.
Please draw the attention of anyone who might be interested in the course to
these awards.
Further information is available on the web at
