My name is Fiona Morrison I work as the Quality Manager for a Defence
Logistic Organisation.
We have implemented a process improvement methodology called Cost Time
Profling (developed and refined by Westinghouse) in which we are
attempting to capture cycle cost and cycle time for our processes and
focus improvement efforts on reducing both of these. This is what we see as
the initial step in costing processes from which we intend to implement
activity based costing.
I can highly recomend the consultant that the Department of Defence in
Australia has used to training and assist in the implementation of this
methodology.
