Dear all
I appeared to have opened a Pandoras Box in answering Hiros original
message. As a manual therapist first and foremost could I make the following
suggestions.
1 It looks silly when one profession tries to tell another discipline what
they do and how they do it.
2 Professions are narrowed when defined in terms of a modality/ies.
3 Bad practice and extravagant claims should be questioned from whichever
quarter they comes from.
4 Manual Therapists will only get respect from each other when they are
happy to give it and not use anecdotes to gain leverage.
5 All therapists believe they are the true holistic practionners and have
numerous stories of their success where others have failed.
Even though point five is tongue in cheek I hope it is time to chill before
people get too upset. Warm Regards Kevin
