A member of j18 has mentioned a subject that could be a key factor in the
day's impact, or lack of it, namely, the distribution of leaflets at, for
example, the central subway stations in major cities. The number of
workers entering the world's big cities via subway each morning is of
course in the millions--and each could obviously be handed a leaflet on any
chosen day, assuming enough volunteers willing to stand and hand them out
(and the funds to pay the printing bill).
But what are all those leaflets going to SAY? 'Down With Capitalism' --
'Viva Marx' -- 'Hail Anarchism'? Will they be 'radical' or 'reformist'?
Will they contain reasoned arguments? Will they offer sound proposals for
improving the world economy? Will they be persuasive to the workers
they're handed to?
An obvious way to test them in advance is to present drafts to the group
for discussion.
Tell us what YOUR leaflet will say.
