Creatinene is the breakdown product of creatine ( a substance used to
transport high energy phosphate in anerobic ATP production) the more muscle
mass the more creatine. It is also now widely used as an ergogenic aid in
high energy sports. Works by:
1. Allowing less limitation of rephosphorylstion of ADP --> ADP
2. Increases muscle cell volume drawing water into muscle this may then act
as a direct stimulus to protein synthesis..
