Would like to attend, but it looks doubtful as to whether I
shall be free.
Lacking transport it is very doubtful if I could get there
even if I was free. The nearest railway station is some
distance away (at Windermere), trains are infrequent and
taxis expensive.
I think this may put some many people attending. Don't
forget also that people with an interest in local history
tend to be elderly and may indeed be beyond driving.
