Hi Michael,
I survived my 4th year honours thesis which examined/critiqued SRV and the
discursive production of "disablised' bodies and also have started my PhD at
Queensland University of Technology looking at the Figuring of 'disability'
within Enlightenment and Post-enlightenment discourses. My method utilises
Foucauldian geneologies as well as recent body theorist such as Grosz and
Kirby. All this will be linked with the creation of the 'disablised' body in
social policy law and theology. Drop me a line some time and good luck. Maybe
we can get a discussion forum going.
