In one short word yes, TV profile is vital. It happened at Stoke and
without fear of libel it made a TV star of another Ulsterman who at the
time was the youngest trauma specialist in the country. I worked with him.
Have looked hard on the telly to see Peter Worlock as I understand he is
there. There seem to be few people who beaver away in the background and
get no mention. A bit like the time when I was at Stoke. I never got on
the box once. When I was there in order to make the telly had to stop
shaving for a few months. Won't give any more clues.
BTW Oxford does seem a superb place with frequent chances to. practice
orienteering skills and yachting to boot. I just wonder what happens to
the waiting times. In our place you haven't even got time for a p**s.
BTW thanks for all the advice on the diet. I will be starting on Monday.
Up early doing a teaching preparation and didn't like what I saw after
getting out of the bath.
Rowley I wouldn't get too excited about missing out, although we have
allegedly got the dosh I'll believe it when I see it. In our place they
can't even afford to pay the nurses the new increment. I bet the orthopods
and the physicians will be having a go at it.
