Research Studentships
School of Geography , University of Nottingham
The School of Geography at the University of Nottingham is able to offer
two fully funded PhD studentships commencing in September 1999. One will
be awarded in human geography, one in physical geography. The research
undertaken will link to one of the school's areas of research expertise:
Cultural Geography Environmental Management
Economic Geography GIS and Remote Sensing
Medical/Health Geography Process and Applied Geomorphology
Prospective applicants should give an indication of their area of research
interest. The deadline for applications is Thursday 1st April 1999
The School also welcomes enquiries regarding ESRC and joint ESRC/NERC
studentships, and especially welcomes applications from those possessing or
completing a Masters degree.
The School also offers Masters courses in:
Landscape and Culture (MA)
Environmental Management (MA/MSc)
Geographical Information Systems (MSc)
