Simon, we use it orally for paediatric sedation, 10mg/kg in apple juice
stirred with a little sugar and a straw (we've run out of umbrellas and
cocktail glasses).
It is sometimes perfect but overall somewhat variable. No actual written
protocol as it is allowed only when sanctioned at consultant level. I
personallly haven't used IV for a few years, as you know Ray McGlone has
published on IM ketamine.
Why use it post nubain rather than larger doses of opiate?
