short wave diathermy has a frequency beteen 10 000 000 and 100 000 000
Hertz (cycles per second) with wave lenght between 3-30 meters
the standard S.W apparatus in physiotherapy work has a frequency of 27
120 000 Hz
(27.12 MHz) and set up radio waves with a wave lenght 11.06 mts.
Burn may arise from concentration of electric field at one point,
excess current, use of lotions , impaired of blood flow, water or sweat
on the skin or cloth.
If burn occur it must report to H. O physio Dept. and the burn must
br clean and dry usually being protected with adry sterile
dressing.......
