Ron Ganze--
I'm one of those who offered a cheap tape, but I didn't know if you were
interested. Let me know if you are and I'll have a copy made for you.
Below is my original message.

Ron,
Last spring I was in a production of what we called the York Play of Pilate
for a graduate medieval lit class (the whole class was geared around production
of the play). It was a conflation of several plays from the York cycle that
went from when Caiaphas etc. first plot to kill Jesus through the
resurrection and looks carefully at the moral dilemma Pilate faces--does he do
what he knows is right or does he cave in to pressure? It came off pretty well
for a student production, if I do say so. One of our co-teachers, in addition
to having a PhD in medieval English drama, also has a lot of acting and
directing experience, which was very helpful in whipping us into shape. Sets,
costumes, and music were also very good. I'd be glad to send you a tape if
you're interested--no charge but reimbursement for postage and cost of tape
would be nice. I can also send more info on the play or put you in touch with
the profs in charge if you like. I think our play website is still up too, but
I'll have to check the address at home.
