Now listen hear you lot, why don't you leave us light bulbs alone....we are perfectly capable of reaching our own decisions.
Watt I find entirely unacceptable is that you think you can just switch us around as you please without ever considering how we might feel about it.
I was talking to my friend Pearl Glow just the other day and she commented that friends of her's were thrown out of their homes because the electrician had installed new screw in sockets. I won't repeat in public what she told him to do with his 15amp fu
se box.....suffice it to say that he got a bit wired up by it all.
Consumerism has just gone too far and while change is always inevitable, a dead "bulb of light" deserves more respect than is presently being given. We have feelings....
If you switch us do we not light?
If you dimmer us do we not dim?
Has any one of you actually contemplated what it is like to be a light bulb....do you know what it feels like to have 240 volts sent straight up your. **** at the flick of a switch?
Remember that we adorn your Xmas trees, we help you drive safely, we even light up the food in your fridges, simply put we light up your lives, so why can you not respect us and equalise our opportunity and accept the difference we bring to the world in
all our forms ....even those of us who are dimmer than we should be.
Let's have some more respect for the lightbulbs please. Isn't there a poet out there who could help us glow more into acceptance.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Joseph the lightheart.
