What experiences have people had in using the "slump" technique for
reducing disclocated shoulders? All it involves is getting the patient
to slump forward in their chair whilst supporting them from behind with
ones hands linked under the affected shoulder - effectively using the
patient's own weight to rotate their scapula.
I've only met one person who uses this method - and she swears by it.
Having just tried it myself, I can see why ...
Any comments? Is there a reason why I've not come across it before
(other than my own igmorance, which is always a possibility...)
