Researching Violence is a seminar sponsored by the Violence Research
Programme. Its aim is to explore the impact of the research process on the
personal and professional lives for those who study violence. Seminar
participants include Dr Alison Liebling and Professor Betsy Stanko, who
will be editing a special volume of the British Journal of Criminology on
the personal impact of researching crime and violence.
We especially encourage post-graduate students who are in the final stages
of their PhDs to attend. Researchers conducting fieldwork for the VRP will
also be attending.
