Hi,
I recieved a request from London underground not to point directly to
their tube map
http://www.londontransport.co.uk/scrolmap/area.html
They requested I use the page http://www.londontransport.co.uk
or failing that www.londontransport.co.uk/uhomefrm.html
I want to display a tube map on our site, I thought it best not to hold a
copy here as I presume it's copyright material. The London Transport site
is created with frames so there is no page I can link to that keeps all
their navigation and still displays a tube map.
I looked at the code and found the page within the frame set and link to
that giving me the information I require.
The page I display clearly belongs to London Transport and contains links
to thier homepage and other resources.
I don't intend to comply with their request as I'm not breaking any laws.
Has anyone any comments that I should consider before replying to them?
Many Thanks.
Paul
