Research Associate in Railway Engineering/Economics
A Research Associate is required to join a small team in a specialist
research unit, speciaising in the strategic evaluation of initiatives in the
railway industry, including advanced technology, investment programmes,
organisation restructuring and supplier interfaces. Our work covers a
broad range of the railway industry including railway operators,
infrastructure providers and supply companies, both in the United Kingdom
and internationally.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level in a numerate subject,
with 3-5 years experience and would have an interest in applying
engineering, economic and risk analysis concepts to the rail sector. Railway
industry experience is desirable but is not essential. Competence in a major
foreign language is also desirable. The salary offered will be dependent
upon experience.
